Last Tuesday's comics

Of course the Central coaches haven't noticed, they're at their team bowling tournament all huddled around the score monitor!

Isn't it funny how in a sports comic, artist Frank McLaughlin can't seem to draw people running? I was once, way back in the day, a member of my high school cross country team. They say that if you're that close to something, you can't really notice its nuances, so maybe all the other runners and I did look like we were about to fall flat on our faces as we were running. Maybe we ran leaning forward and defying gravity with the power of our speed, much like Thorp and Kaz are doing here.

Is it just me, or are there sometimes mountains drawn behind Milford as in panel two? Where is Milford anyway?

Ha ha, Trixie wants to be the next Britney Spears. Start learning to sing, girl, because talking to Sunbeam isn't going to make the audience clap.

And an actual queer reference? Why does it always seem to be that Get Fuzzy is the only comic willing to acknowledge the fact that we exist, even if it's a rather indirect reference that'll fly under the radar of anyone who doesn't want to get it?

But even though he's not gay, nor had he ever been gay, Larry Craig has been immortalized in Get Fuzzy. Way to go Senator!
