What's up with that kid in panel 3? Maybe he hasn't had his V-8 yet, or he's just popping his head into the camera frame to say "Hi Mom!"
Considering that this is a comic strip, so there aren't any cameras, and Milford doesn't need your fancy city-slicker proper nutrition, I'm going to guess that he's high as a kite.
