But seriously, why are Chip and his dopey friend doing just sitting around "talking about girls"? Sure, Chip has the guitar in his hands, from which he has removed the strings and two of the tuning devices, but his dopey friend is just smiling at him in panel one, all like get rid of your brother so we can get back to business. Then Ditto responds, and you've gotta wonder if the dopey friend turns so quickly and is so surprise that he's thinking, maybe, just maybe, Ditto's down for a three-way.
