While Dr. Drew's getting a boner off the possibility that he could quit working for his dad and live off Vera's income (if he only knew about the riches she gave up to live in Charterstone), she's experiencing one of her first hu-man emotions: the desire to jibber-jabber. Of course, we're supposed to interpret this as "love" or "affection", but people talking about their work really doesn't a good flirt make.
